About Our Mobile Food Pantry
Our Mobile Food Pantry is a free community resource dedicated to fighting food insecurity in Van Buren Township and the surrounding areas. Every month, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, our team of dedicated volunteers loads up and brings nutritious food directly to the community — because we believe access to healthy food is a right, not a privilege. Whether you're facing a temporary hardship or ongoing need, we are here for you with no judgment and no barriers.
What to Expect
Fresh Produce
We distribute fresh fruits and vegetables whenever available, helping families access nutritious food that supports good health.
Non-Perishable Goods
Canned goods, dry staples like rice, pasta, and beans, and other shelf-stable items are available at every distribution.
Bread & Bakery Items
Bread, rolls, and other baked goods are often included in our distributions, donated by local bakeries and grocery partners.
Household Essentials
When available, we also distribute personal care items and household necessities to help families stretch their budgets further.
How It Works
Show Up
Simply arrive at 11900 Belleville Road between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month. No appointment, no paperwork, and no ID required.
Meet Our Volunteers
Our friendly volunteers will greet you and guide you through the distribution. We strive to make every visit welcoming, dignified, and respectful.
Receive Your Food
You'll receive a selection of available items to take home for you and your family. We do our best to accommodate dietary needs when possible — just let a volunteer know.
Come Back Anytime
There's no limit on how often you can visit. We're here every 1st and 3rd Tuesday, and we're always glad to see you. Bring a neighbor — the more the merrier.
